After raining nearly all day, the sky finally dried up but the sidewalks were still wet. There were people behind me so I couldn’t just stop for a picture. However, I did manage to snap this while still walking.
I like the pops of color, the dark moodiness, all the people and the way the sign reflects in both the sidewalk and the window.
It’s just fun.

In the late 80s while I was in college, a friend and I did a Spring Break trip that involved us being in New York for a couple days. We did the NBC tour. Don’t know if it’s still like this, but then one stop on the tour was to a replica of the Johnny Carson set. They took two volunteers from the tour group to play Johnny and Ed McMahon — my buddy and I. We crushed it. The NBC pages were impressed.
Haha. I bet they’re still telling stories about those cool guys back in the 80’s!!
