Spring sprung yesterday and I celebrated with a walk at a favorite place. Sadly, it still looks like winter. In southern Ohio that means everything is brown and ugly. But I saw some signs of life that indicate the landscape will be green and brushy within a few weeks.
Of course, everything is prettier when the sky is blue. Here’s wishing us all blue skies today!
That blue sky is always a sight for winter weary eyes!
It truly is. I am always so grateful for a pretty winter sky instead of the drab gray we have so often.
I’m rather partial to brown shades myself.🙂 Gray gets me down. No blue skies here today. The atmospheric river has arrived!
I find brown incredibly depressing when I’m accustomed to green. That’s part of the reason a snowy winter is so much better – it masks the ugliness.
The landscape may still be brown and barren, but at least the sun is shining! We still have quite a bit of snow here in southern Ontario. It is melting though.
Well, it was that day. It is raining now. I’ll trade you my brown ground and rain for your snow any day!! 🙂
