They’ve been around for more than fifty years, selling all manner of cheeses from around the world – 270 cheeses to be exact. I guess that’s how they afford this fantastic sign with the mouse!
Who knew there were so many kinds of cheese out there? There are even specialty cheeses in chocolate, peanut butter and berry varieties. Have you ever eaten peanut butter cheese? I’m not that adventurous.
This third generation family owned business has been around since 1968. They also sell things that you might need to go with your cheese like sausages, crackers, wine and candies. It’s a one stop shop!

Well, I do recall those packs of cheesy crackers with peanut butter filling, so *maybe* it wouldn’t be so bad. More like something my hubby could go for, though.
Meh. We walked around but the store itself wasn’t really for me. I did like the outside!!
Speaking of cheesy…we just finished watching “Somewhere in Time” on tubi tv. The island was beautiful, and the hotel. But how did all those cars get there? (Hollywood always gets its way.)
The town made an exception for the film. And yes…. It’s a bit cheesy. It’s a cult classic for a reason!
I enjoyed it. Hubby not so much. The time travel method was straight out of Jack Finney’s book “Time and Again.” (1970)
That’s pretty common. If you look around the island, you see a lot of girl’s groups who are no doubt there together because the husbands weren’t interested in the movie.

Author Richard Matheson was known in the science fiction community before he wrote Bid Time Return, the book that inspired the movie. This book actually mainstreamed a sci-fi book with a new audience. He also wrote for the Twilight Zone back in the day.
It was Finney’s book that inspired Matheson’s story.
