I like towns with nooks and crannies and interesting things to see in odd places. Check out these pretty butterfly murals on the back of a shop in Frankenmuth, Michigan.

The colors are extraordinary and were a welcome pop of joy on the gloomy day we spent exploring the town. I’m telling you, the best way to experience a place is to park the car and take a walk.
It’s great exercise and the best way to find all those nooks and crannies.
What beautiful butterflies! And I agree with you about walking and being able to really see a place. We enjoy walking, too!
These butterflies were positively striking in person!
Walking through neighborhoods is a sure way to find hidden delights. Love those butterflies!
It’s amazing what you can drive by without even noticing and all the things that simply can’t be seen from the car window!
Well I do prefer drivers who watch the road!😉
Haha. Well, I was kind of talking about passengers….
