Freedom doesn’t come free. Democracy isn’t a guaranteed right. Freedom and Liberty for all are just words unless there are people prepared to fight and die for the cause.
We owe our nation, our freedom and everything we have to the brave men and women of all branches of the American military.

I wished my husband a “Happy Veterans Day” and he said he wasn’t sure it was meant to a “happy” holiday. I said, be happy it’s not a memorial — if you’re a veteran, you came home alive!
Yes!! I’m hesitant to say “happy” because there are so many perspectives on this. Still, living to tell the tale is a reason to celebrate! Tell him thanks for me.
