Book Brothers

Book Brothers is the kind of bookstore where you might enjoy being stranded some winter day. That’s because this store is packed from floor to ceiling with a huge collection of books to consider.

The bad news is that there’s almost too much to see.

They have a huge selection of classics, art, history, philosophy, contemporary fiction and more. Plus, there’s cool non-book stuff to see.

They take cash and plastic and are located in downtown Lakewood, Ohio. Check them out!

    • I think they had three machines in that store. It’s very cool! You know, there’s an antique mall in Chillicothe, Ohio with several old school pinball machines you can play. Lots of people gather there to play!

      • I bet those retro pinball machines are super popular across generations. Something about the physical nature of the game, and the lack of ‘instructions’ or ‘training’ like in them there new-fangled games … makes them appealing.

      • See, that’s just cool. Old guys with bald heads and leather jackets reliving their youth at the pinball arcade. I love it!

I didn’t want to hijack your comments section, but this past weekend I was at OBLIVION VII ’80s and ’90s cars and culture show. They had a whole arcade set up with Frogger and Pac Man and Apple computers playing Doom. It was like my high school came to life. I’ll post an article on it next week, but it just shows you that those old video games and pinball games where amazing!

      • How fun! I’ll have to look for your story!

And hijack away. I always like hearing stories about people doing the things that bring them joy!
