I tidied my writing table over the weekend so Scout had to check it out. I’m not sure why but his eyes were big as saucers as he investigated the lack of pens and scrap paper lying about. People say that cats are aloof and without personality but my experience is that they are little characters with big personalities and emotions as valid and worth expressing as any human I know.

I had my cat, Sammy, for 14 years. She was very affectionate! And she sure had personality. I wonder if those who say cats are aloof actually have cats.
They don’t or they had a bad experience with one once. Sunny is a great name for a kitty!
Cats don’t like big changes to their surroundings, I think. Moving furniture or cleaning up an area might feel a bit threatening perhaps.
They do hate big changes.ln this case, he was just mad because there were no stray pens and books to knock on the floor. Lol.
My cat hates it when I make the bed! Sometimes he will fight with me. Not play fighting but real fighting with claws and teeth and drawing blood! He’ll be 15 in January next year.
That’s funny. Scout loves to help make the bed and there is no better day of the week for him than Sunday when I change the sheets.
Cats are the best.
