One of the best things about warm weather is hearing the birds outside my bedroom window in the mornings. It’s a joyful noise, comforting and familiar.

Yes, YES!!!!! And does anyone ever STOP and really LISTEN to them? I do. Often. Some of them…especially the cardinals and blue jays, I think, really have a large repertoire!!!! When I lived in L.A. the only guy who really SANG was the mockingbird we named Caruso. It might have been several different mockingbirds over the years but HE was always Caruso to us. And always will be. But here in Arkansas I have an amazing symphony of birds in the woods and when they all get going it’s really something. I love them all!!!!!

I often meet people in the woods when I’m hiking who are listening to music either with ear buds (or God forbid) without them. They are missing out in so much. Half the experience for me is the sounds of the forest and the peace that comes with the birds and wind in the treetops.
I just want it knock them down and take away their tunes.
