I know a fellow who owned a 1964 Galaxie for a long time. These may be great to look at, but the driving experience is very different and at times a little scary after you’re used to modern cars!

I actually have no interest in how most classics drive but view them as eye candy. Between expense and safety issues, I know they are just here for me to coo over as I casually walk by. 🙂
I agree with you that they’re great to look at, not drive.
Mid century car design was amazing. Today’s cars are metal boxes, mostly without character. It makes me a little sad.
They are rather homogeneous, but so comfortable!
They are comfortable and safer so that’s good! It just feels like there’s room for a little style too!
