Sunday. It’s a beautiful word in my world because I fiercely protect my time on this day.
I typically do a few chores to prepare for the week and then spend the remainder of the day doing whatever feels right. Sometimes that’s cleaning a closet or weeding a junk drawer.
Yesterday I passed my time doing a puzzle, writing a little and reading some. It was a glorious, quiet day with some podcasts and absolutely nothing that annoyed me.
It was exactly what I needed.
Adventuring is fun. Work is rewarding. Yet we sometimes need a break from it all. Take that break as much as you can, as often as you can. You won’t regret it.
I haven’t done a puzzle in awhile. I actually used to do them quite often when I lived in the city. I totally agree about needing a break, whether from work, travelling or anything really. I think it makes us more productive and can help us feel recharged!
Here’s something weird – it came with two extra pieces that clearly don’t belong with this puzzle!!!
It was a terrific break and I can’t wait to do another!
So strange! And that probably means that there’s a puzzle that’s then missing a couple of pieces!
I would be so mad if my puzzle were short pieces!
Oh I know. And you don’t realize you’re missing a piece until you’re almost done …
My kind of puzzle! Cute and can be finished in an afternoon!
Love it!
Oh my gosh! Chris, it was a fun one! Although I did discover two extra pieces in the box. They clearly didn’t go with my puzzle so someone out there is possibly two pieces short!
That puzzle is adorable!!!!!
Isn’t it? It was a fun one!
