I have a ton of stories to share with you from the long weekend but haven’t had time to sort it all out in my head. For today, here’s a photo that made me smile.
I had just walked out of this Erie, PA Barnes and Noble when I heard this car start in the parking lot. I believe she’s a 1967 Ford Mustang.

I don’t know enough about early Mustangs to tell the year, but it’s really interesting how the vinyl roof makes it look like a convertible.

I’m disappointed in myself because I saw a fifties era Chevy parked along the street on my way home and was too tired to go around the block for a photo. It doesn’t happen every day but I just needed to keep moving at that point.
Well, if you’re taking requests, even shots of older Japanese cars are cool. I grew up with Subaru and Nissan ‘sports’ cars because they were so cheap readily available. But it seems few people kept them once the ’90s were over. So, if you see one in the wild…
I’ll try to pay attention. I can spot an American muscle car and a hood ornament from a mile away but tend to tune out the rest.
Listen… I appreciate anyone who does car-spotting. I just wanted to say that I don’t discriminate. Domestic, import, all good.

Yep, a ’67. First year of the slight design refresh on the original Mustang. You can tell a ’67 from a ’68 this way: ’67 has no side-marker reflectors on the side, ’68 does.

It is a beaut indeed! I do need to get away from home a bit more often. Well, we’re heading on a short trip to Crested Butte. That will be nice.
