Simply beautiful! We’ve had our eye on this state park for quite some time. Looks like the nicest spot to just be on a Sunday.
It’s beautiful but I wouldn’t advise a weekend visit. It’s so overrun with people on weekends and on a lot of summer weekdays that it’s unpleasant if you want to actually feel close to nature.
We went Saturday morning but that was probably my last weekend hike there until November. And that’s unfortunate because it’s my closest hiking spot.
So, I hope you do get to come! Just be careful with your timing.
