This quote presented itself one day, just when I needed it most. It intrigued me and has provided food for thought. Perhaps it will do the same for you.

This message is painted in a stairwell at McClain High School in Greenfield, Ohio. Their mascot is the Tiger. I got a kick out of it.
Most species bare their teeth as a threat, as a display of aggression, of leadership. Think of that the next time I smile.
I found it when I visited the school for a tour during their alumni activities a few weeks ago. That was a fun experience which you can read about here.

I snapped this picture between rain showers at my parents’ house last night. It has rained a lot this week so everything is growing nicely – including the weeds and the grass which I consider a glorified weed. The American obsession with grass is beyond my comprehension but I digress.
The point is that things are becoming pretty.
And, as for us humans, the quote is true for us as well. Every day can’t be easy and fun. Into every life comes an occasional storm must come. We’ll come out stronger and better for it.
