My yard is populated by countless species of birds who all fight for a spot at my bird feeder. This little guy is smart. He was hanging out underneath the feeder, waiting for the seed that got dropped. Perhaps we all can learn a lesson from this – Sometimes it’s ok to let everyone else fight it out while you still get what you want! I liked his style.
The little birds are so smart! There was no room at our feeders either recently and the little ones were sitting on the porch rail underneath the woodpecker block. As the woodpecker hammered away at the block, they were eating whatever tiny seeds rained down. LOL Do you know what kind of bird that is that you took a picture of? That’s the exact kind we had but I’ve been too busy to look him up in our bird guide.
I don’t know much about birds but I’ll look him up in my book tonight. Some birds are naturally ground feeders but this little one was trying to get in at the feeder before he decided just to wait. Lol.
