Well, Well, Well

Well, well, well. Look who finally decided to show up. It’s finally Friday and the workweek is about to wrap up for us 9 to 5’ers.

I’m usually not a fan of living for the weekends but, Geeze Louise, I’ll be glad for a little rest.

But first, we must push through today and see what all we can accomplish! Friends, go forth and conquer this day and enjoy whatever will make your heart happy!

Happiness Is….

Happiness is old barns, pretty pictures, long drives and Fridays. It’s making it through another long day and knowing the weekend is near.

You know the drill, friends. Go forth and live a good life. Happy Friday!

Small Army

It has required something close to a small army of tiny super heroes to get me through this week but we are finally here. Friday is always a sweet reward but it is especially welcome today. I did a little too much yesterday and anticipate a quiet weekend of naps and recuperation from this nasty bronchitis.

Gentle is the word I seek right now for more reasons than I can say here.

Be gentle with yourself if that’s what you need. Go forth into the world and adventure with enthusiasm if that works for you. And if you can, attack the world with the confidence of a four year old costumed as their favorite super hero!

By the way, this little Lego army is on a shelf in the bedroom of my Pittsburgh friend’s son. He’s away at college but has left in his wake an impressive collection of complex Lego creations. Still, these little guys were my favorite!

Have a great Friday, friends!

Friday

It’s Friday. Usually, by this point in the week, I like to have my to do list at work and at home somewhat under control.

Have you ever pulled a loose thread on a sweater only to find everything coming unraveled? Welcome to my week.

I have no reason to believe that conditions will improve today but I’ll give it the old college try and see what can be done.

Here’s hoping for quiet and productivity for us all. A smooth transition into the weekend would be lovely. In case you’re wondering, the picture is from Lake Rupert one morning earlier this week.

Did We Make It?

Four day workweeks are often the hardest. In this case, it has felt like four Mondays in a row and they have been the Mondayest of all the Mondays.

I think it’s finally Friday (right??) and, for that I am grateful. Whatever day it is and wherever you are, I hope you make the best of it! The weekend is just a few hours away so be sure to enjoy that too.

TGIF

Congratulations. If you’re reading this, you made it to Friday. The first week back after vacation is always hard and this one has felt so long I can’t even remember vacay. So, let’s celebrate our victory. Friday is ours!

Have a good day, y’all!
